0. Requirements:
1. Begin the Update:
To start the update, run the following command:
ispconfig_update.sh
ISPConfig will prompt you to choose the type of update:
Select update method (stable, git-stable, git-master) [stable]:
Type "stable" and press "Enter".
You will then be prompted about creating a backup:
Shall the script create a ISPConfig backup in /var/backup/ now? (yes, no) [yes]:
Choose "yes" to ensure you have a backup in case of any issues.
Next, you'll be asked to reconfigure permissions in the master database:
Reconfigure Permissions in master database? (yes, no) [no]:
For single-server installations, select "no".
Note: If ISPConfig notifies you about the firewall_server service detection and its configuration, it is recommended to select "no":
`Service 'firewall_server' has been detected (currently disabled). Do you want to enable and configure it? (yes, no) [no]:`
Choose "no" if this update appears.
You will then be prompted about service reconfiguration:
Reconfigure Services? (yes, no) [yes]:
We suggest choosing "no" to avoid disabling critical services that might lead to system unavailability.
Next, select the ISPConfig port:
ISPConfig Port [8080]:
The default port is 8080, so simply press "Enter".
You'll be asked whether to create a new ISPConfig SSL certificate:
Create new ISPConfig SSL certificate (yes, no) [no]:
Select "no" to avoid generating a new certificate, which could prevent access to the ISPConfig login interface.
Finally, reconfigure Crontab:
Reconfigure Crontab? (yes, no) [yes]:
Choose "yes" to complete the update.
Congratulations! The update is now finished. After logging in to the ISPConfig panel, you will be using version 3.1.6.
